Our pilot shape: a teardrop lens, a bar across the brow, a thin steel rim. The lens sizes run larger than our other frames because the shape needs it - the S here is 52 mm. Polarised grey is standard, which cuts reflected glare off water and bonnets and is the lens to drive in.
Polarised lenses also hide some screens. Petrol-pump displays, some car dashboards and a phone held sideways can go dark or show a rainbow. It is physics, not a defect; if you spend the day on a screen outdoors, pick a plain tint.

Cleaning. Rinse after the sea. Dry with the cloth. Store in the case.
Protection. Every lens we sell, whatever its tint, is UV400: it blocks UVA and UVB up to 400 nm. The darkness of the tint has nothing to do with the UV filter.
Tested. Six people wore this frame for a month before it was listed. The drawbacks above are what they reported.
