A squared-off acetate front with a slim rim, the pair most people should start with.
Pick a frame size before adding it.
The front is cut from 6 mm bio-acetate, then tumbled for three days so the edges are soft before they reach a face. The bridge is a keyhole, which spreads the weight across the nose rather than resting it on two points, and the temples carry a steel core so the fit you set stays set.
Acetate warms up. Left in a hot car or on a sun lounger the temples will loosen, and the pair will sit lower until an optician - or a hairdryer and some patience - tightens them again. That is the material, not a fault.

The things about this piece that people write to us about. None of them is a fault, all of them are worth knowing first.
Cleaning. Rinse under lukewarm water, dry with the cloth. Store in the case, lenses up.
Protection. Every lens we sell, whatever its tint, is UV400: it blocks UVA and UVB up to 400 nm. The darkness of the tint has nothing to do with the UV filter.
Tested. Six people wore this frame for a month before it was listed. The drawbacks above are what they reported.
Orders from €80,00 ship free; below that it is €4,90. One to two working days in Italy, two to four for most of the EU.
Anything unworn, in its case with the cloth, can come back within 30 days. Hinges and lens coatings are covered for 2 years. The full policy.

Measured my face at 138 mm, took the M as the guide said, and it sits exactly where the photo shows. First pair of sunglasses I have bought online that fit.
The weight on the page is accurate. I wanted something light and the number told me which to buy before I had to try three.
The polarised lens does blank my petrol pump screen at an angle, as warned. Still my favourite pair; just wish I had read the warning first instead of second.
Hold a ruler flat across your face at eye level and read the width from temple to temple. That one number picks the size.
| Face width | Size | Lens width, this frame |
|---|---|---|
| Under 130 mm | S | 48 mm |
| 130–140 mm | M | 52 mm |
| Over 140 mm | L | 55 mm |
Bridge on this frame: 20 mm. Temple length: 145 mm. If you already own a pair that fits, the three numbers are usually printed inside one temple - compare them.
